What Do I Do?

Chalkboard illustration is hand-drawn, beautiful and traditional art. It is distinctive, creates impact and there are endless possibilities of designs.

Each design is customised to each client, (all inspirational imagery and typography research welcome when ordering - this helps me more than you'll realise to get a feel of exactly what you want) I draw out a few ideas, do a first and second draft, then the final concept.

I really enjoy the design process, from beginning to end, and seeing the final design once it has been completed. Each board takes time so please try and book in early as possible to avoid disappointment.

I use chalkboard wet/erase marker pens to complete the designs after fully laying out the finished template onto the chalkboard in pencil first. These pens are easily wiped off. If you have a board that will be going outdoor, i have a weatherproof clear matte acrylic spray which will protect your artwork from the elements.

I aim to create you a perfect and professionally written board to fit into or compliment your venue or business, or a keepsake for any special occasion. if you have something that is not specifically a chalkboard, I can also write onto gifts and furniture.
